You young bucks can learn something from John Nields. One of the best criminal litigators in town, and he doesn't even use a computer! Get that $$$ Mr. Nields.
Wasn't Lazerow the one that sent an email to all of the partners saying how he was standing firm with Howrey and looking forward to contining to work with everyone at Winston, and then jumped ship without a peep. There may have been valid reasons for his move, but it is utterly embarassing in light of his email about everyone banding together. Funny how quikly that changes when one's own best interests are not served by doing so.
Are all of you people insane? You don't know what the hell you're talking about and posting like maniacs. Houston has NOT had their offer rescinded. Who knows about Madrid at this point???? John Nields IS a very respected attorney and will be in whatever his future holds. Andrew Lazerow is another good and dedicated attorney - yes, he may have sent an e-mail saying that he was standing firm with Howrey but when Howrey has voted for dissolution, he needs to think of himself and his family. You people need to back the hell off - these are people who are stunned by the lack of loyalty of partners who came in the past FEW years to the firm itself. At the end, they do need to think about themselves in their families.
8:43... what? Are you that stupid? Lazerow didn't leave until the firm had dissolved. He meant every word of his email, but when the firm dissolves what are you gonna do?
Houston office has conflicts with Winston. Looks like they are going elsewhere.
